Salem Arts Association presents “Ahht for Peeps”

The following is a press release from the Salem Arts Association.

ahht-for_peeps_bannerThe Salem Arts Association (SAA) and Artists’ Row are pleased to host a summer, three-day art happening at Salem’s Old Town Hall in Derby Square, August 6-8.  Enjoy fine art, music, fashion and theater all in one place.  This is what having an arts center in downtown would be like!

Headline Event:

Ahht for Peeps: art exhibit for the people, by the people, and of the people will extend through the three-day art happening:  Friday, August 6, 5-10 pm; Saturday, August 7, noon-10 pm; Sunday, August 8, noon- 10 pm

(Artwork Take-In: Thursday, August 5, 3:00-7:00 pm at Old Town Hall during the Farmers’ Market.)

Opening Reception: Saturday 4-7 pm

Friday, August 6

Connoli and Chianti in Concert

A Heritage Event for the purchase and preservation of St. Mary’s Italian Church to create the Salem Community Arts Center

Second Floor 7-10 pm

Donation: $15.00

Saturday, August 7

Erinn Brown Band 5-7 pm Erinn Brown, Fran McConville, Alison Keslow, Steve Peabody

“For Crying Out Loud” A Play by Darren Henderson 7:30 pm
